Cabinet Depot in Pensacola, Florida is looking to add a Full-time/Part-Time Warehouse/Delivery Worker to their team.
Qualified candidates will have a great attitude, a strong back, be prompt, be organized, be able to multi-task, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to dress appropriately and present themselves professionally.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must possess a current, valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
• Must be able to drive, back up, and maneuver a box truck
• Must be comfortable working on feet for long hours
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Excel a plus
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screening
• Warehouse experience is a plus
• Must be able to work our hours of operation. Tues – Sat 8-5
This position will be expected to perform the following duties:
• Receive trucks and check orders in/out
• Load and unload cabinets, including delivery to customers
• Palletize and stage cabinetry in warehouse
• Pick up debris/cardboard from job sites and deliver to dump
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized
• Perform showroom upkeep including general maintenance, cleaning, vacuuming, removing trash/debris from the property, etc.
• Help answer phones as needed.

Cabinet Depot is still without power, so we are closed until further notice. We will keep posting updates as we have them. We have already had many phone calls asking what we recommend to try to save existing cabinetry. While we cannot guarantee that your cabinets can be saved if they were flooded, here is what we recommend:
At the base of your cabinets, there is more than likely a trim piece called the "toe kick" that covers the recessed toe space. Remove the toe kick trim and drill large holes through the toe space portion of the cabinet to help drain water and to allow airflow. If you have power, put fans blowing on the cabinets to help dry them. Usually, a short flood will not permanently damage wood, furniture grade cabinetry. The biggest hurdle is mold, due to the combination of moisture and heat. The quicker you can get air movement around all areas the better off you will be.
