In light of the Coronavirus outbreak we need to ensure that our immune-compromised patients remain healthy. Cache Valley Ear, Nose and Throat will be following CDC guidelines and currently treating emergent patients only in clinic when required. We will be offering telemedicine and remain open to our patients via live video chat. We are asking that if you have an upcoming appointment and feel it is something that can be addressed once the Coronavirus threat has subsided we ask kindly that you call to reschedule your appointment for a later date or ask about a telemedicine appointment. If you are experiencing a recently developed fever, cough and shortness of breath we advise you to cancel your appointment and seek care by calling an Instacare facility instead. Furthermore, if you are being seen in the office we are limiting exams to patients only in the exam room for adult patients as well as only one guardian to accompany a minor patient during an exam. This is for the safety of you, your family and our staff. Others accompanying patients to a visit will be asked to wait in their vehicle or the common area at the front of the hospital. Our office does not have the equipment to test for this virus, so we ask for your cooperation to keep our patients and staff healthy. If you are concerned about symptoms or possible exposure, you should not enter our office, but instead call ahead to an Instacare facility so they can better direct you. To contact us please call (435) 753-7880. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Cache Valley Ear, Nose and Throat To Summarize • We are not seeing patients in office with a current cough or recent travel history. Telemedicine visits are available for these patients. • Only the patient will be allowed in the exam room. One guardian will be allowed in exam room with any minor or disabled patients. All others will be asked to wait in their vehicles or in the main hospital entrance common area. • Non urgent exams are suggested to reschedule to a later date or to a telemedicine visit once the threat has subsided. • Please call your local Instacare facility if you need assistance for a cough, fever or shortness of breath.
