The Café Gouda menu offers both traditional and unique dishes, serving delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Owner Margie Rapp was born and raised in Hickory, NC. However, after college she traveled and lived all over the country. It was during her travels to various regions that she learned to enjoy a lot of different foods. Margie’s desire was to have a restaurant that was unique. Margie ultimately combined some of her favorite restaurant experiences with her own creative ideas to come up with Café Gouda's menu.
Opened in November of 2000, Café Gouda has become a popular spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Hickory area. Choose from a traditional breakfast plate, such as stuffed French toast or an egg wrap for breakfast. For lunch we have a variety of unique and delicious sandwiches, soups, and over-the-top salads. Dinner consists of our lunch menu along with gourmet pizzas and pasta, and we have a dinner special every night. Café Gouda also serves beer and wine for your pleasure while dining.
The Café Gouda philosophy is simple… we are only as good as our last meal served. With this in mind we strive for consistent quality and friendly service.
