Whataburger Groom's cake! 🍔🍟 How FUN! I'd been looking forward to creating this one! I love faux food cakes. Top and bottom buns are Vanilla Ice Ice Baby cake and filling. The 'beef' layer is red velvet so it would be 'raw' inside when cut. 😂
All the toppings are modeling chocolate except for the lettuce, which is made of wafer paper. The beef patty is also wrapped in modeling chocolate to get that beefy texture. Ketchup, mustard, and mayo are all buttercream. Fries are white chocolate.
All the wrappers, etc are real. When I stopped at the Whataburger on Ben White to ask for some clean props, I showed the manager, Jessie, a pic of the cake so they wouldn't think I was crazy, lol. He thought it was so cool and told me to wait a minute. He not only came back with the bag, cup, and fry box, but also found and gave me the 3 tent numbers of 10-4-20 for their wedding date! I love Whataburger!
When the groom is a HUGE St. Louis Blues hockey fan, he gets his own tasty version of The Stanley Cup as his groom's cake! And to add to the fun, the groomsmen all came to check it out while we were setting up, and showed me they were wearing St Louis Blues socks! 😁🧦
It's all cake except the very top bowl. The top half is our amazing Cinnamon Churro cake with Cream Cheese filling and the bottom half is our delicious Disco Lemonade cake with Vanilla Ice Ice Baby filling.
Such a fun groom's cake! The groom gave me a double high five when he saw it! 😁👐 Everybody said it was totally 'him'....an Xbox with a camping scene on top. And how awesome is the setting that the mother of the groom created for his cake? A LOT of love went in to that. 💖

The birthday girl loves her chickens! So her sweet husband had us create a cake like one of her favorites. She is a delicious chicken, made of Pecan Pie cake and Pecan Praline filling 😋 Every feather was hand cut and shaped...took houuuuurrrrssss.
