Still smiling from our egg shenanigans last week! Our daredevils participated in an egg toss (don't worry, they were boiled), egg peeling race, and laughed at all the yolks (jokes) we could handle before recuperating afterward with a healthy hard-boiled egg snack.
Summer may be over tomorrow, but vacations are still on for our residents! We recently launched a virtual reality therapy program for our residents, which uses an Oculus headset to transport them to experiences, places, and events outside of the community’s grounds. We welcomed a wonderful philanthropic teenager named Katie today! She so graciously donated these hand knitted animals she created for the comfort of our residents. She is a bio-tech student at UC Davis and has great talent, heart and soul as well as the brains to match!
