About

Our inviting, state-of-the-art 10,000 square foot facility is unlike any other. We blend modern medicine with time-tested Eastern practices to provide the highest quality veterinary health and wellness care. At Calusa Veterinary Center, we offer medical services, rehabilitation, surgery, triage and emergency care, as well as grooming and luxury boarding.

Partners Dr. Andrew Turkell and Dr. Anthony Krawitz and their medical, technical, and administrative support staff including the pet resort and spa are prepared to serve the total needs of clients and their pets with tender, loving and professional care. Above all, we emphasize the highest quality pet health and wellness, because we believe all animals deserve a better chance to live longer, happier and healthier lives. And, when treating or caring for your pet, we consider everything from environment to disease patterns to his or her relationship with you.

We look at your pet from a holistic viewpoint— medically, psychologically and environmentally. We work every day to earn your loyalty and trust and to build a long-term partnership by maintaining the highest standards of veterinary care through all stages of your pet's life. We make this promise as if your pet were our own because we understand the special and unique bond that you and your pets share.

Treatment plans are developed using a wide range of healing therapies. Our Zen-inspired Center for Holistic Studies is where homeopathy, acupuncture, nutrition and herbalism are used to get your adored pet onto the road to recovery. Emergencies can happen at any time, and we know that when your pets are ailing, you suffer, too. So our doctors and technical staff are trained in emergency medicine and critical care and are on-site around the clock ready to deal with any pet emergency - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our clients have access to leading-edge products, services and educational content focused on enhancing the human-animal bond. We also offer canine rehabilitation, pharmaceuticals, acupuncture and homeopathy.
