ROOM ATTENDANT POSITION SUMMARY: The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning hotel rooms, as well as additional duties as assigned. We are looking for candidates with vibrant personalities, reliable transportation and flexible schedules! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Clean bathrooms, counters and floor surfaces of guest rooms. Safely adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents. Change all bed linens and remake with precision. Dust and clean all furniture, shelves, and ledges as needed. Vacuum all guest rooms. Ensure trash in all guest rooms is emptied, and replaced with fresh bags. Refresh all amenities in guest rooms including: new lines, towels, and other supplies. Inspect all rooms for cleanliness. Offers guests assistance whenever possible. Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services. Responsible for positively representing and promoting the property. Informs the Housekeeping Supervisor of any safety concerns, and unforeseen disruptions with work schedule. Reports any maintenance, security, or safety issues to the appropriate staff. SKILLS, EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE : High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent years of relevant work experience preferred. Previous hotel experience highly preferred. Ability to efficiently work under time constraints. Ability to work with cleaning chemicals. Must be able to lift, push, and pull 25-50 pounds frequently. Able to work a flexible schedule.
