This Saturday is our Tailgate Party. The Maine Line will be serving from 4pm - 7pm. Keep in mind he prepares the food made fresh. Let's spread out the time so that not everyone is in line at 4pm. We will have a DJ to entertain us. Have a wonderful time!

Update on Covid 19 at Camelot East Village:
Please make sure you go onto www.cdc.gov to see what anyone who has Covid 19 or has been around someone who was tested positive for Covid 19 needs to do to keep yourselves and others around you safe.
We have had 2 more residents who have tested positive for Covid 19 as of today. These 2 residents have not used the clubhouse or facilities. If the Covid 19 cases increase this week we will close the pool area as well. Our first priority is to protect our residents.
Because of the high number of cases we have decided to continue the closing of the clubhouse until further notice. We are asking that residents who are using the pool area please wear a mask while entering the pool area and walking around the pool area. Masks are not required while sun bathing or while you are in the pool or jacuzzi.
There are to be only 4 people in the jacuzzi at a time and please social distance 6 feet apart while in the pool, unless you are with someone who is living with you at your home.
Because of the seriousness of Covid 19, if any staff member observes someone not adhering to the Covid distancing rules at the pool area they will contact our manager, Gail Sterling at 941-962-2374 and he will come and observe the offense. If the offense hasn't stopped everyone will be asked to leave the pool area and the pool will be closed because of the offending residents actions.

Covid 19 update: Because of more cases of Covid in the community , over the weekend , the clubhouse will remain closed until Wednesday, January 13,2021. We will reopen the clubhouse on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 6 am. Please note that we are treading cautiously because of the amount of residents who have contacted Covid in the last 2 weeks. Our entire Camelot East Village staff have been tested for Covid in the last week and we all tested negative. Its almost time to put your dancing shoes on for our Decades Dance! It will take place on Saturday, March 6th from 6:00-10:00 P.M. A chicken dinner with be provided by Dutch Valley complete with a root beer float for desert. DJ music will be rocking the night with a favorite from last year Gil and Rhonda. Tickets are $10.00 with seating for 100 people. Come see Renee at the front desk.
If you're looking for something fun to do shuffleboard is taking place on Mondays at 7 pm!
Ladies Lunch Bunch is coming up on THURSDAY @ Noon, and it will be at the Casey Key Fish House Don't forget to stop in and sign up. Today is the last day you can do it. They have very good food with a water view!

Featuring DJ Escape with a BBQ dinner from Perry's Roadside BBQ YUM! BYOB. Mark your calendar it will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. (The music starts at 4:00, and the food will be available at 5:00). Tickets cost $10.00. Stop in and see Renee from 9-4 Monday through Friday or on Tuesday evening in the coffee room from 6:00-7:00P.M.

We had a terrific time with the Bob Gates band at our Cocktail Hour on the 4th, and are looking forward to seeing him here again at Camelot East Village on February 18th. Mark your calendar! They will play from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.

After conversation with the artist, It was found out that working with alcohol inks and straw blowers is not safe due to Covid. The techniques that are taught all involve blowing the inks which means removing masks.
Unfortunately, classes have been cancelled until after vaccinations are given.
We apologize for the disappointment, and look forward to it taking place at another time.
