My post-freeze checklist: Turn all water fixtures off, check the water meter to verify NO movement. If so then good so far. Pull any hose facet covers off, they are just holding cold in now. Let the facet thaw if needed and check for leaks again, operate it to verify working ok. If the water meter is even creeping a bit walk around the home looking for obvious issues. Wet spots not related to melting snow. Look inside every cabinet at the water pipes for any fixture/facet. Operate every sink/tub to operation. Do the hot and cold separate and verify you get both. If all looks good then sit down and say a prayer of thanks. Do this again an hour before sunset. If something happened you would rather identify it before it gets dark. If you find an issue you don't understand, message me a photo. We are investigating leaks to confirm the source to the extent we can. We don't do repairs, but you don't need to fix something that is not broken. We do repair lawn irrigation backflow devices. We fix those and I have a big supply of repair parts.
