Here is some great advice from our Groomer! Gabby’s Grooms January 2 at 1:07 PM · Over grown nails vs freshly trimmed nails! Nail trims are an extremely important part of your dogs health. Long nails can put pressure on your dogs toe joints, making them sore and difficult to walk on. It’s also makes it hard for a dog to get traction when walking on a slick surface. I recommend getting your dogs nails trimmed every 3 to 4 weeks, even more often for puppies. Some people get lucky and don’t have to trim their dogs nails as often because they are so active and naturally wear them down. Still, you should be checking them routinely. Let me just remind some..... dogs cannot do this on their own. Much like everything else, they need help! Don’t be afraid to ask us if you are ever unsure of if you have any questions at all!

In this position, you must be comfortable and proficient with dogs, communication, and multi-tasking! We can have 100+ dogs walk in our doors each day, so the ability to move quickly and learn quickly is a must! We have many growth opportunities in our camp, so we are always looking to promote internally before widening our applicant search. This can be a full time or part time position. We are looking for camp counselors to be in a play yard with up to 25 dogs at one time. This position will include maintaining happy, healthy play for all of our pups, giving a lot of attention to the pups, and having good cleaning habits!
