We would like for you to meet Trucker! Trucker was found at a truck stop 6 weeks ago going up to truckers looking for food and attention. The truckers were kicking at him and shooing him away, one kind trucker saw what was going on and brought him to us. When he was brought in we were going to name him Romeo because he was such a charmer, but thought Trucker fit him a little better!
Trucker is a 11 month old lab mix. He gets along great with other dogs and people! He loves a squeaky ball. If playing fetch, he will run after the ball when it’s thrown, but he hasn’t grasped the concept of bringing it back. He knows how to sit. He is a very smart dog and learns fast! He has a high drive to please his people and just wants to be loved!
Trucker’s adoption fee is $125 and he comes fully vaccinated and neutered! He is, also, current on flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention!

Good Morning, Everyone!
Meet Mirabelle! Mirabelle is a 6 week old puppy that came to our shelter 2 weeks ago when she was found at an abandoned warehouse. The man that found her asked neighbor’s about her, but the only information that he got was from a woman that what she thought was the mom was hit by a car a couple of days before Mirabelle was found. Mirabelle had a fungus on her skin and was emaciated. She is still missing hair in a few spots, but the fungus has healed and she has gained weight!
Mirabelle has a fight to live and is so precious! She may be a small thing, but she makes up for it in sass! She doesn’t walk, but fast prances. She gets along great with the big dogs. She is eating and drinking great. Mirabelle is ready for her forever home!
Mirabelle’s adoption fee is $125 and she comes vaccinated and with a voucher for when she is old enough to get spayed! She is current on flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention!

Tomorrow is our big day of fun!! CARA will be @ the StorageMax NE Jackson on Northtown Road for PET PHOTOS w/Santa from 11am-2pm! $20 for one and $25 for multiple pets/family.
StorageMax will be hosting their 5th annual food donation drive for CARA and as always, there will be tons of great raffle items, box lunches offered by Outback Steakhouse & beverages by Clark Beverage for $5. We will have some of our pups that are available for adoption, as well as our team available to microchip your pet for $20. Also, with this being the giving season and with the need always being so great, Mississippi Blood Services will be onsite. ALL PROCEEDS TO GO TO CARA!!!

Ollie is our counselor of the month of November. Ollie joined the Camp Bow Wow family a few months ago and has really proven to be not only a hard working and dependable associate in the short time employed at camp, but also is great with all of our campers. You can tell Ollie really loves all of the dogs that come to camp. Thank you for all you do Ollie!
Rowdy is our camper of the month. Rowdy is a super playful golden doodle and never met a camper he didn't like. He loves to come to camp and play all day with all his FUR-iends and he really loves all of our camp counselors.
