The position of Housekeeper is extremely vital to the reputation and impression of the hotel. Cleanliness and the comfort of our guests is incredibly important to us, and dedication to those standards is what we are looking for in a potential employee.
Hours are typically Monday - Friday, 8:00am to (varies). Rotating shifts on weekends only if housekeeping is needed. Number of hours per week will vary depending on occupancy of the hotel. Applicants must be able to work well with a team, and must successfully pass a background check/drug testing.
A high school diploma or equivalent is desired but not necessary, a friendly and outgoing attitude is a must, and if you feel you meet these criteria, we want you to apply!
Responsibilities and Duties
Cleans hotel guest rooms, hallways, linen rooms and storage areas, as directed
Provides superior guest service by positively interacting with guests and acting upon opportunities to assist
Reports all safety hazards or maintenance deficiencies
Works well in a team atmosphere
Qualifications and Skills
Positive demeanor and demonstrated ability to work successfully with the public
Able to communicate well with others
Must be able to use the equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, vacuum, cleaning supplies and safety equipment.
We are a pet friendly hotel so must feel comfortable around animals.
