We wanted to include this photo of a young Navy man (father of an employee) back in 1944 walking the pier at Pearl Harbor just before he was shipped off to the South Pacific. He served on “communication” vessels in the South Pacific with Navajo Indian Code Talkers on board as they tried to pick up and decode Japanese radio chatter. Many believe he is the youngest surviving participant of the Pacific Theatre (WWII).
