We're happy to welcome Dr. Pallavi Saraf, DMD to our Cape Fear Smiles Family.
Originally from Marietta, Georgia, Dr. Saraf is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina and has been living on Wrightsville Beach for the last 2 years. Before that, she studied Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
She has a strong interest in nutrition and public health and hopes to make dentistry a part of overall wellness.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Saraf loves to be outside! You can find her barefoot on the beach with her german shepherd Lady. She also loves to cultivate community and support small businesses, especially involving art, good food and photography. She is an avid traveler and is always planning her next trip.
Dr. Saraf is looking forward to meeting you and your family and being a part of your wellbeing.

Dr. Cortez is honored to work with Natalie Ward The Milky Mermaid (lactation consultant) and Dr. Samantha Bunge Family Tree Chiropractic, PLLC (infant chiropractor) to bring you a multidisciplinary clinic to treat Tethered Oral Tissues (TOTs). This amazing women are passionate to help Moms who have difficulties breastfeeding!
An infant can have a lip or tongue tie (physical restriction) and that can create problems not only with breastfeeding but also bottle feeding, colics, painful latch, sleep deprivation, low milk supply, poor weight gain among others.
Dr. Cortez has had 2 babies and understands what Moms are going through!
