Although we are wearing masks as the new normal, you can’t hide your smile forever.
This patient complained that he had a black spot above his gum when he smiled and asked if it was a cavity. He had an old PFM crown that was more than 15 years old on the front tooth! It has metal underneath and stained the gums. It was causing the patient more self consciousness about his smile..
We were able to do a new zirconia layered porcelain crown on the front tooth and the patient is more confident and proud of his smile!
