Joseph DiClaudio thrives when he’s part of a team, but after getting a concussion during a basketball game in January 2019, the 12-year-old athlete feared that his season would be cut short. Capital Health’s Center for Neuro-Oncology, part of our Capital Institute for Neurosciences and the Capital Health Cancer Center, continues to demonstrate nationally our program’s leadership and clinical excellence.
Dr. Navid Redjal, director of Neurosurgical Oncology, recently published as lead author in the Journal of Neuro-Oncology, a new paper discussing updated evidenced-based guidelines for treatment of brain tumors. The paper which includes co-authors from Massachusetts General Hospital, Case Western, Mount Sinai and Emory, was part of his work with the Joint Section on Tumors of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS).
