We are celebrating Vet tech week in style here at the Springfield location! We absolutely LOVE our tech staff and couldn’t do our jobs without them!!

If anyone knows anyone that wants a cat. Got my mom to adopt this kitty from my work and turns out he is not dog friendly. He's a super friendly cat with people. He's about 1 and 1/2 years old, neutered and updated on vaccines. Should probably go to a single cat household..

We understand that appointments are taking longer than normal due to curbside appointments only, but we appreciate your patience. We also understand that phone wait times are longer than usual. Due to the nature of appointments during COVID-19 protocol, our call volume is the highest it has ever been and our team is doing everything we can to get to you as quickly as possible. We apologize for this inconvenience, and we ask for your patience and understanding as we are doing everything we can to care for your pets while keeping you and the Capitol Illini team as safe as possible.

Due to manufacturer logistical challenges, many Royal Canin diets have become intermittently unavailable or back-ordered. Until we have a resolution, we want to ensure your pet has the therapeutic diet they need to remain happy and healthy.
If your pet is currently on the therapeutic line of Royal Canin, please contact us well in advance of running low to ensure we have more of your pet’s food in stock. If we are unable to get your pet’s food in on time, our knowledgeable team would love to work with you to determine an alternative diet for your pet's needs and review appropriate transition feeding schedules to suit your pet.
Vaccine reactions can happen to anyone, including our own pets! Remus (Taylor’s Chihuahua puppy) had an adverse reaction today after receiving his second set of puppy vaccines. It’s important to watch for reactions such as: facial swelling, hives, vomiting, diarrhea, and lethargy. If your pet were to have a vaccine reaction please contact us for treatment!
