Cherisee Cooper is our Service Champion for the month of October! Cherisee is an outstanding RCA and has been an asset to our harbor. Cherisee works overnights in the harbor building and she also works a full-time job. Cherisee has taken on the challenge of running the overnight shift and has graciously trained all new overnight staff. She finds coverage for any overnight open shifts. Cherisee takes pride in her work as an RCA. She is not afraid to voice concerns for her shift or for the residents; always having their best interest in mind. She provides excellent care and respect to each and every resident in the harbor. She is reliable, dependable and her attendance is a great example for all. Meet Cherisee...

Harbor was so excited today that Brown University students received our package ! Today we received another package full of goodies from more students ! They sent games, puzzles , jokes , facts , and more wonderful student introductions. So wonderful keeping our friends involved and having lots to do .
Today, Benchmark CEO Tom Grape received his first COVID-19 vaccine at Cabot Park Village, an Independent Living community in Newton, Mass. Tom waited until all residents and associates throughout Benchmark’s 63 communities had a chance to receive their initial dose before rolling up his own sleeve. Tom and the entire Benchmark team are working hard to promote the importance of getting vaccinated.
Through Town Halls with medical experts, associate and resident videos and daily myth-buster emails, Benchmark is ramping up associate vaccine promotion as the second round of clinics begin. Read more below about our efforts to put an end to this terrible virus. #CalledtoCare

Love is in the air in Harbor! We created these lovely little Valentine's flower pots together. We also enjoyed some love songs, some Valentine's reminiscing, and time together as friends while being creative! Perfect afternoon! 😍

Harbor got their creative Picasso on! We made these beautiful dandelion puffballs 😍 Each one of them was unique and special. We used our fingerprints and some beautiful paints to create these. They are beautiful like each one of our residents !

The Benchmark Coronavirus Advisory Council was featured in Providence Business News over the weekend. The Council consists of renowned public health and medical experts. Tom Grape, Benchmark’s founder, chairman and CEO, said of the group: “By formalizing additional relationships with a larger group of experts that includes some of the nation’s top public health minds, we can ensure that our infectious disease prevention and containment protocols are consistent with leading-edge thinking on COVID-19.”
