Dr. Judy Wei is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who founded Capri Medical Group. She specializes in prenatal and postpartum care, vaginal deliveries as well as Cesarean sections. Although she is a strong advocate for vaginal deliveries, she is also well known for her beautiful surgical incisions if her patients were to require Cesarean deliveries. As a former Assistant Professor of OBGYN at Keck Medical Center of USC, Dr. Wei is experienced in high-risk pregnancies and obstetrical complications and has successfully performed numerous vaginal births after prior cesarean deliveries. As a mother of three beautiful children, and having gone through both vaginal and Cesarean section deliveries herself, Dr. Wei can personally relate to her patients and, therefore, provide professional care with a human touch. Women who choose Capri Medical for obstetric care receive comprehensive care with state-of-the-art ultrasound technology, phlebotomy and vaccination services, and fetal testing all on site, making it a “one-stop shop” experience.
Dr. Judy Wei is also a fellowship-trained minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon specializing in advanced laparoscopy and treatment of endometriosis and pelvic pain. As a former Education Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery at Keck Medical Center of USC, she had trained numerous medical students, resident doctors and colleagues the art and techniques of advanced laparoscopy. She performs total and partial hysterectomies, myomectomies, endometriosis surgery, ovarian and Fallopian tubal surgeries through laparoscopic and robotic approaches.
