Dwayne McDuffie made his mark in comics and today we present his contribution to animation. Mr. McDuffie was an animation writer and producer on Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, Young Justice, Ben 10, and Static Shock (based on his comics creation, Static).

Today we present Dwayne McDuffie at DC where he founded Milestone Media in 1993 "a coalition of African-American artists and writers" who had their own imprint with characters like Static, Hardware, Xombi and Icon.
The new DC character Naomi McDuffie is named in honor of Dwayne McDuffie.
