Good Sunday afternoon, wanted to post to keep our clients updated.
First we are going to remain open and conduct business pretty much as usual with a few changes/options available to you. Also at this time our business hours are the same. 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday and 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturday. Staffing will be a little light at times during the day as we have several staff members attending to their children who are at home given the "stay at home order".
We are making a few changes in scheduling and are asking for your help in a few areas.
1. We are offering a scheduled phone/skype appointments option with a doctor for current established clients with sick pets. There is a $40 fee for a TELEMEDICINE APPOINTMENT. If enough information can be gleaned from the phone call, we can prescribe medication for the owner to pick up. If we need more information we can complete an in clinic appointment to examine your pet for an additional $10.
2. Only one client per pet please. We are staggering appointments to allow clients to immediately go into an exam room. We will try our best to keep waiting room time to a minimum upon presentation and at check out.
3. Clients have the option of drop off visits. Clients can either drop off and wait in the car or pick up after the appointment is completed. We will communicate by phone or in parking lot if weather is favorable. If pets are caged during the visit, there will be a cage charge. We will be available to pick up pets from your car, just phone when you have arrived, and please be patient.
4. Drive up to pick up medications and food. Call ahead and we will get prescriptions ready to pickup. We can get invoice totals ready and you can present a check or cash for amount.
5. Medications and food available at our online partners website: https://caringhandsanimalhospital.vetsfirstchoice.com/
6. We prefer not to do car appointments given the close quarters.
Any questions please call or email.
