Dr. Fleisher graduated from Harvard Medical School. He completed residency and fellowship training at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience/Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital. After fellowship, Dr. Fleisher joined the faculty of Harvard Medical School with a position at McLean Hospital.
Dr. Fleisher returned to UCLA to help grow and strengthen the clinical service. He provides thorough clinical evaluations and consultations for children (2-17 years old) and young adults (18-21 years old). He treats a wide range of illnesses, including anxiety/OCD, depression, ADD/ADHD, insomnia, ODD/DMDD, personality disorders, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, and autism spectrum disorder. He also serves as the Medical Director of the Boston Child Study Center, Los Angeles and maintains a private practice in Beverly Hills.
Dr. Fleisher's approach is grounded in developing a thorough understanding of the clinical problem at all levels: biological, psychological, social, behavioral or functional, and systemic (including the family, the school, the neighborhood, etc.). From this understanding, he works with parents and patients to create an evidence-based, conservative, holistic treatment plan with clear and measurable goals for improvement.
