For me, being an Allstate agent is all about family. My father opened his Allstate agency in 1981, and I began working with him and my mother in 1998. When it was time for my parents to retire, I took over the agency in 2007 — and I have loved every minute of it. I enjoy being able to help customers in our Houston community.
This commitment to service shines through in my personal life as well. One of my biggest passions is protecting the environment, so I am very active with Trees for Houston, a volunteer group that plants trees in public places. Additionally, there are beehives that house 60,000 bees on my property. Bees are under duress all over the world and are critical to life as we know it. I decided to create a sanctuary for them — and I even get honey for my efforts! I also own two chickens, Dora and Ruby.
In my spare time, I enjoy exercising. I teach yoga, work out with a personal trainer and make time for running. The food scene here is stellar as well. I love to venture out and try some of the new places around town.
