Starting our weekly maintenance routes today, looks like we might need a ride from Saylorsburg Lumber, Inc.’s new delivery boat to get close enough to vacuum it. At least the pool stayed clear, we’re confident our chemical regiment will keep it that way!
People ask why we won’t plate a liner before there is water in it. This is why. This liner had the skimmer cut before the water had fully set the liner in place, putting a downward tension on the vinyl around the screws in the skimmer plate from day 1. This year the liner finally gave up and ripped below the screws. When the customer tried to put water in the pool, it ran out around the skimmer plate and wouldn’t stay up at run level. Little things like this extend the life of your liner and the enjoyment of your pool. Think twice before taking the cheapest bid!
