Carlton L. Lyons is, MD board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has been providing Obstetrical and Gynecological services in the Michiana area since 1991.
Dr. Lyons earned his undergraduate degree from Carleton College and was a Research Assistant at the National Institute of Health for one year. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Minnesota, and he completed his residency at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center and St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1991. In 2014 Dr. Lyons earned Board Certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology), becoming one of this regions 1st Board Certified Urogynecologists.
Dr. Lyons is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is also a member of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, The North American Menopause Society, Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction, The International Urogynecological Association, International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health, and The American Medical Association.
After 22 years of providing Obstetrical and Gynecological care, Dr. Lyons now focuses his practice specifically on gynecology, urogynecology and minimally invasive surgery, including daVinci Robotic Surgery.
