We want to thank all our patients who have stuck with us during this pandemic. As we look to get back to our typical full schedules in July, please remember to wear a mask during your entire visit to our office and stay home if you aren’t feeling 100% healthy. Did you know Iowa requires optometrists to have 50 hours of continuing education each biennium? Dr. Richardson and Dr. Parrish are getting some hours in today and tomorrow. With the pandemic, all CE hours are virtual for now. Hoping for in-person lectures again soon!

After multiple positive COVID cases within our office and following the guidance of the CDC and public health, we are happy to announce we are able to reopen in a limited capacity tomorrow, Monday Nov. 2nd. This will mainly be for fielding phone calls and providing optical services. We are planning to see patients again starting Tuesday, Nov. 3rd. This is all pending any additional positive cases amongst our staff. Please keep in mind, due to quarantine guidelines, we will be short handed going forward over the next week or so, but we are going to do all we can to be available for our patients. Thank you for understanding!
Unfortunately, we have had a positive COVID-19 case amongst our staff and are having to close indefinitely for the safety of our patients. We are hoping to get some guidance soon on when and how to safely reopen. We have been requiring masks be worn throughout the building, so this may positively affect how soon we can open again. We are so sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you, and can’t wait to open again soon to serve you all! Stay safe.

For the safety of our staff and patients, we are going to remain closed today, Friday, January 15th. We will be open from 8-12 tomorrow for scheduled appointments and optical services. Dr. Parrish is available for emergencies today - call him at (815) 570-3937. Thank you and happy snow day!
For now, we are going to delay opening until at least 10:00 AM. This may change depending on how the next couple hours go. Thanks for your understanding. If we delay opening longer or close for the day completely, we will update here.

With numerous staff driving from outside the city limits, we must keep their safety in mind, as well as the safety of our patients.
