After escaping an abusive home at a young age, Dustin faced mental illness, drug and alcohol addiction, homelessness, and incarceration. Despite these challenges, Dustin worked towards recovery - he eventually graduated from college with honors and pursued a career in social work to help survivors of trauma. Dustin's incredible story is proof of the power of recovery. To be protected by the moratorium, renters must sign and return the “Declaration of Financial Hardship for Eviction Protection” form to their landlord. Landlords are required to send this form to you, but you're encouraged to send it in as soon as you can.
