As a NYS Licensed Acupuncturist, Elizabeth blends her Traditional Chinese Medicine skills with a deep sense of compassion for each of her clients. She is able to envision each person in their fully healed state and she designs her acupuncture treatments to allow that unfolding to blossom. Those who have experienced sessions with Elizabeth describe the healing sense of their qi flowing smoothly and an improvement in their conditions.
Elizabeth is a life-long learner and her on-going training is academic, clinical and experiential. She holds Masters degrees in both Acupuncture and in Education, is a National Diplomate in Acupuncture, and has also trained in Reiki, Magnified Healing and the shamanic energy practices of the Americas. She weaves these studies together with her own life experiences of joy, loss and growth. One of her greatest assets is being able to hear, at the deepest level, what her clients seek. She envisions herself as a steward and a servant for these journeys towards wellness.
Elizabeth was a recipient of the Humanitarian Award from the NY College for Health Professions for her clinical work with patients and was chosen as one of the Women of the Year by the Town of Islip for community service. These included her fund raising efforts on behalf of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the creation of Bay Shore Holistic Health Services which offers low cost and free alternative health treatments to those in need.
Elizabeth provides compassionate and gentle acupuncture for pain management, arthritis, fibromyalgia, sports injuries, colds, flus, sinusitis, allergies, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, smoking cessation, wellness and preventive care.
