Last Night at 31 Mohawk Avenue!!!
My landlord Ursula of Switzerland informed me that they would not be extending my lease (after we negotiated the new terms ) in the beginning of the year. With the crazy world we have been in since, I was able to shoot up until last month here. Now, very sadly and very mixed emotions I am leaving my space.
I am going to be shooting out of Central Studios on Central Avenue, Albany, when I have a studio shoot. Adam Grogin runs a great rental studio there and a terrific photographer is his own right!!! Beautiful space for creative minds. You should check it out!!!
Last but not least, sharing a beer with my guardian who has been with me since my first studio 26 years ago in Cohoes!! Those who have been to the studios over the years are sure to recognize him!!!
One door closes, another opens....
Keep shooting!!!
Paul
Yankee Trails pitching in to speed some cheer around our local neighborhood today!!! Thanks to the Tobins and crew!!!! #YTHopebus
I was out shooting last evening. This is what happens when a fire engine, responding to a call, drives through your exterior shot at dusk!!! Too funny!!
Don't forget to look for this months "Pink Supermoon" on Tuesday evening. It's the biggest supermen this year!!
Saying hello from my home office.
Please know all my prayers and best wishes are with everyone battling the horrible illness.
We are practicing our limited social contact on a daily basis.
We've pushed back a couple of shoots and are looking forward to get them rolling again.
I know photography is low on the priority scale right now, but some things still need to be produced. I'm still doing small shoots, if they are either at the studio or have limited social contact, usually be myself. Still-life and product shots are all still very doable also, and can be delivered to us directly.
On a lighter note...
If there are any questions you wish to ask me concerning photography or photoshop while your staying at home, please fell free to reach out to me. We can FaceTime or Skype also.
It's a good time to learn, practice your skills and give your brain some creative food!!!
Spring flowers are on their way, so keep positive, try not to stress-out, and stay safe.
Paul

Steve is retiring this year. He has always been such a great sport in every photoshoot. Always trusts me and is willing to do whatever it takes for a great photo. One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. I wish him well in his retirement!!!
p.s., even did a great "Kilroy" impression for me at the end!!

It was indeed my pleasure to photograph Jacquelyn O'Brien for her next stage in her career and life a couple of months ago.
The daughter of my friend from The Cranberry Bog, Kathy O'Brien. She is off to South Beach,FL with her viola to play in their orchestra!! I shot her a few years ago when she was graduating high school.
Now, it's wonderful to see her as a young lady spending her wings! Best of luck to you Jacquelyn!!!!

Took advantage of this beautiful weather today. Here's Saratoga Lakes outlet Fish Creek from above. Hardly any boats on the lake this time of year! With Dawn Castle, Michelle Gladd, and Tom Gladd.
