ATTENTION CLIENTS IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK AND OUR DESIRE TO STAY OPEN TO SERVE OUR CLIENTS AND THEIR PETS, WE ARE FOLLOWING THE PROTOCOL RECOMMENDED BY THE NC VETERINARY MEDICAL ASSOCIATION & THE NCSU COLLEGE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE: UPON YOUR ARRIVAL PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR CAR AND CALL OUR CLINIC: 336-545-3390. WE WILL TAKE AS MUCH INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE OVER THE PHONE AND THEN A TECHNCIAN WILL COME OUTSIDE TO GET YOUR CAT FOR THEIR EXAM OR DROP-OFF. YOU WILL STAY IN YOUR CAR DURING THE APPOINTMENT (OR LEAVE IF YOUR CAT IS A DROP-OFF). THIS WILL LIMIT EVERYONE’S EXPOSURE AND STILL ALLOW US TO SEE YOUR CAT. CLIENTS WISHING TO PURCHASE FOOD/SUPPLIES WILL CALL AND WE WILL BRING THE ITEMS TO YOUR CAR. PAYMENT WILL BE TAKEN OVER THE PHONE OR VIA CHECK. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all try to continue working through this unprecedented time.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the loss of our dear Mena this past Wednesday. She was our hall supervisor and treat taste tester. Being hard of hearing and light of foot, she often would appear out of nowhere in your path and demand some Temptations with a old lady voice saying, "MrrrOW!" We miss you, Mena. You were loved and always will be.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our clients have experienced new procedures for curbside services and increased wait times. Despite these changes, you have remained loyal to us by continuing to schedule appointments and waiting in cars until your kitty has received the required medical care. Therefore on this September 21st, Worldwide Gratitude Day, all of us at the Cat Clinic of Greensboro want to say a huge THANK YOU for your continued support and allowing us to be a part of your lives.
This is funny, unless you are the object of that look!
A kind person brought this nervous boy in as a stray. He has a microchip but it isn't registered. It doesn't show in these pictures but he is a tuxedo cat. If this is your boy or you want him to be your boy, contact Deborah at 336-907-8452.
Hey! Did you know that we're open on Saturdays now? In order to maintain safety we are seeing only wellness exams at this time. Give us a call at 336-545-3390 to make an appointment.
Here is a quick way to tell if your cat is experiencing pain:

"Hey hooman! Yous late for elebensies! My bowl iz empty."
Officer Gray is unhooked from IV fluids and lost her hat. She is sitting, standing, eating, and making a wicked biscuit!
Officer Gray having some noms this morning. She is being a good girl and taking her pain meds well.
This tiny kitten was brought to us by a Greensboro police officer who saw someone throw this poor girl out of a car window. Dr. Beachy worked a miracle to repair the torn liver and herniated body wall. "Officer Gray" is what we are calling her for now. She still has a fractured hip and lower spine to heal, as you can see in the radiographs. She has a long road to recovery and can use all the help she can get. We are gratefully accepting donations to help cover the cost of her care. Stay tuned for updates on Officer Gray.
Officer Gray loves to snuggle her pink octopus. 😻

The Maggie Fund helps to offset costs for cats in need of care but are unable to afford the treatment. Foster kittens and abandoned cats are often the beneficiaries of this program.
Officer Olivia Gray is getting another therapy laser session before going home! We are going to miss this girl but ecstatic that the Officer who brought her in will be her Momma. 💖😻😍💖

We have six healthy little jellybeans and one (not pictured) sick one. Mama is doing great!
A while ago, a cute kitty was left at our door step. She is very sweet and purrs like a motor. Come to find out, this baby is expecting babies of her own! Stay tuned for more news.
We made it to Friday! Let's celebrate by sharing some kitty pics!
Update on the young family: The queen is being an excellent mother and the six kits are doing very well! Sadly, we did lose the little number 7 kitten a while ago. But the remaining ones are putting on weight and little eyes are starting to focus on surroundings. A few of the girls are already showing a little sass!

She may not sit in your lap and you many not always see her but she has the potential of being a great companion if given the chance.
