Now it's easier to call Cataract & Vision Center of Hawaii.
We are excited to announce telemedicine at Cataract and Vision Center of Hawaii!
In order to protect our vulnerable patients we are able to provide most eye care from the comfort and safety of your homes. Utilizing simple video chatting platforms through your smart phone or laptop connect with Dr. Brandon Lee and Dr. Daniel Choi for all of your eye care needs!
If they find it necessary to obtain further in person testing they will be available to see you in a safe limited volume clinic. This solution allows us to encourage all to socially isolate and take care of our patients and community!
Thanks to my patient @krystle_clear_photography for starting my day with this kind message!
A few years ago Krystle had a bad infection of the eye. We were able to diagnose the cause (a fungus) early by taking her to the operating room to perform a corneal biopsy. She responded very well to treatment and went from legal blindness to returning to her life, family, and passions including photography!
She was kind enough to share a recent article featuring my mentor @corneapapi highlighting the importance of tissue and organ donation.
Krystle was lucky enough to avoid a corneal transplant but there are thousands of patients every year who rely on the generosity of those who donate. Please sign up to be an organ donor. You will save lives and help cure blindness! @donatelifeamerica
