The picture on the left was taken when he was 11 weeks and the picture on the right (which was taken today) he is 15 weeks and 15# bigger! Notice how much darker his face is and his ears stand straight up now!! He’s so handsome!

Meet “Beke”! She is an Ornate Diamondback Terrapin! She’s gorgeous! An interesting fact about terrapins is that they can survive in brackish water! They have adapted so well, they can even distinguish the salt content of the water they’re in, if they want to take a drink!
It’s that time of year again!! Chocolate and candy everywhere! Make sure to keep it out of reach of your pets...and Dr. Headlee 😂 But, in all seriousness, chocolate is toxic to dogs and cats and some sugar free candy can be very dangerous if ingested by your pet. Due to a recent Covid-19 exposure to one of our employees, we have decided to temporarily close for appointments until 11/23/20. I have these feelings every day and suffer routinely from compassion fatigue. Most people that came into the veterinary profession did not do so for the money. We do it because we love animals and want to do everything we can to help. Two of my veterinarian colleagues committed suicide this week and we want to bring some light to the situation affecting the veterinary profession.
