There’s something special that happens when you get in the trenches with others. When you work to provide a safe place for someone to heal, you become family.
The thing about family is that it lasts forever. Regardless if you see each other or not, the Celebrate Recovery family transcends place and time.
How could this be?
Romans 11:23 God is more than ready to graft back in the natural branches when they turn from clinging to their unbelief to embracing faith.
God’s CR family is indeed a forever family!!!

Have you ever traveled in an unfamiliar place and had no direction? Maybe you’re driving and your mapping system goes out?
That’s the same feeling some people have in recovery. They aren’t sure which way is up or how to get on the right track. We have an enemy who tries to keep us in the dark at all costs.
But we also have a God who goes to great lengths to rescue us from the dark. He sent his son Jesus to be a light for us in any situation. Once we accept Christ, we then become the light in any situation!
And if that wasn’t enough, he breathed life into CR... a ministry that had already given hope to millions of people across the world!
Groups are opening back up. However, if you’re in an area where groups are limited, reach out to a local CR and join a group that is meeting online.

I’m thinking this morning about how #grateful I am to have plugged in to the process of Celebrate Recovery shortly after asking Jesus in to my heart. When I was saved something changed, but everything did not change! When I plugged in to the process of learning to live life the way He intended me to...... everything changed! The decision gives us the promise of eternity and it’s free. The process gives us the freedom here on earth but it costs everything! Something to chew on today!
