Central Bank receives a 2019 Global Service Quality Award
We are proud to announce that Central Bank was honored with a 2019 Visa Global Service Quality Award for Highest Authorization Approval Rate - Consumer Debit. This award recognizes issuers that display a commitment to customer service through high authorization approval rates while helping to control risk.
The Visa Global Service Quality Awards (GSQA) program was established in 1992 for clients in the U.S. region and was further expanded in 2009 to include international regions. This annual program honors some of Visa’s highest-performing acquirers, issuers and issuer processors. GSQA recipients exemplify the Visa-client partnership, fulfilling our brand promise through excellence in innovation, operational efficiency and cardholder satisfaction.

Central Bank announces that Clayton Rogers has joined Central Bank as Retail Banking Officer
Louisville Market President Mark Wheeler has announced that Clayton Rogers has joined Central Bank as retail banking officer.
Clayton brings 12 years of prior financial services experience to his new role as retail banking officer for the Central Bank’s Hurstbourne location in Louisville. Mr. Rogers is a native of Lebanon, KY and attended the University of Louisville and Sullivan University.

Central Bank announces that Ryan Leigh Chapman has joined Central Bank as Deposit Services Officer
Chairman, President & CEO Luther Deaton, Jr. announced that Ryan Leigh Chapman has joined Central Bank as deposit services officer.
Ryan previously worked for Central Bank from May 2006 through September 2013 in deposit services and internet banking. She rejoins Central Bank as deposit services supervisor after spending seven years as the director of philanthropy for the Christian Appalachian Project.
Ryan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in merchandising from the University of Kentucky, and holds associates degrees in business marketing and business management. An active member of the community, Ryan lends her time as a volunteer at her church and her son’s school.

To earn this certification, over a period of many months Andrea studied training materials, took practice exams, and created her own flashcards for self-testing on HR behavioral and technical knowledge. She successfully passed a comprehensive 4 hour exam in June 2020 which measured her knowledge learned. The pass rate for this exam during her testing window was just 68% of those who took it and Andrea was among that stellar group!

Central Bank announces the promotion of Betsy Williams to Assistant BSA Officer
Lexington, KY – Central Bank Chairman, President and CEO, Luther Deaton, Jr., has announced the promotion of Betsy Williams to Assistant BSA Officer.
Betsy joined the Financial Intelligence and Security Unit in September of 2016 as a BSA/AML Investigator. She began her banking career in 2011 as a teller and then BSA/AML investigator.
Betsy is a graduate of Morehead State University where she received her bachelor’s degree. She is also a certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and received her certification from the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists in 2015.
She is a native of Hazard, Kentucky and now resides in Lexington.
