The builder will provide all the necessary inspections you need. There is no need for a Independent building inspection.
After following professional advice from all parties involved in the new build transaction. The buyer skipped the inspection process, went ahead and closed on the home. After taking possession of the home for peace of mind the buyer decided to have a Inspector look it over.
The photo shows a bulge in the siding. This bulge is caused by the framing members underneath. During the building process this bearing wall wasn’t flushed and racked to minimum building standards causing the siding to bulge. All buildings settle somewhat in the years following construction, this generally causes no problems if the settling is uniform across the building's foundation or all of its pier and supports walls. This bulge could become a larger issue due to natural settlement. Hcinspectors.com
