After 21 years in the United States Navy, Dr. Chad Storch, D.O., MPH, joined Monument Health in August 2020. He is board certified in Occupational and Aerospace Medicine and has over 25 years of experience in hospital and clinic settings, including acute care, primary care, and surgery.
During his Navy career, he spent nearly four years on the USS OAK HILL where he was the primary care manager responsible for the occupational health and wellness of all sailors and Marines aboard. He was also the program manager responsible for maintaining OSHA standards in heat stress prevention, hearing conservation, sight preservation, asbestos exposure, and radiation health.
Most recently, Dr. Storch served as the Aviation Medicine Department Head and Senior Flight Surgeon at the Branch Health Clinic at Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Milton, FL. He was the lead medical advisor to the Training Wing Commodore regarding the occupational health and medical readiness of over 1500 aviators and air traffic controllers and he served as the Primary Care Manager for over 500 Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard personnel.
Dr. Storch is excited for the opportunity to bring his expertise in Occupational Medicine to companies and organizations in the Black Hills.
