During this time, we are keenly focused on your safety while helping you feel better. Our centers are open and here to serve those in need. The Department of Homeland Security and state governments have deemed physical therapy an essential component of health care during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We are taking extensive preventative measures, guided by the CDC, to protect our patients and employees who enter our centers. That said, if you do not feel comfortable coming to a center for care, we will gladly reschedule your appointment for a later date. In addition, many of our locations offer telerehab services so that you can easily connect with one of our licensed therapists through web-based technology. Your care, your choice. We’re here for you today, and we’ll be here for you in the future. “I came in unable to use my left arm and after the first visit I felt a difference. After four visits it was like I could almost fully use my arm again. Now I can sleep through the night and work with no pain!” These sentiments were from Stephanie on the treatment she received from Tyler Mobley, P.T., at our Oxford location. Stephanie came to our center with neck and arm pain that left her with poor mobility. Thanks to the power of physical therapy, Stephanie is pain-free and back to her favorite activities. Thank you, Stephanie, for your kind words and way to go Oxford team! #patientsuccess #bounceback2it
“My experience has been very positive. It was a very welcoming environment with really great people who made sure you had a good experience. All of the staff, including Susan and Beth, went out of their way to go the extra mile and enhance my sessions.” We love helping our student-athletes return to play! Our former patient Christian worked alongside Susan Herrin, MPT, CMTPT, center manager, at our Tuscaloosa location to recover from an upper extremity injury. We’re pleased to share that Christian has overcome his injury and is preparing to play basketball at Shelton State this upcoming season. #WhereTheProsGo #SportsMedicine

Meet Rose Walkenhorst M.S., ATC! She’s one of the Area Sports Medicine Coordinators in Iowa and has been working at Select Physical Therapy for more than 10 years. She currently works as a liaison between physical therapists at Select Physical Therapy and the physicians at Iowa Ortho to enhance patient care. While working with the physicians, she helps examine the patients and obtains a detailed history. She also helps to complete electronic health records and review previous records and imaging.
