A few days away. Didn't realize we would have Hurricane Zeta to contend with. A rainy day at the beach is still better than a sunny day at home. My ❤ is always at the beach.
Basement renovations and upgrades can be challenging. There are so many factors to consider one of the most important is making sure when you have a livable space there is a way out.
Luckily, my new client has a way out of the basement and we don't have to worry about that.
What we need to do is make the space a really nice hangout area for family and friends. Looking forward to the next steps! Visioning sketches are so helpful for folks in being able to see what I have in my head 😀
Universal design is so important for those who want to age in place.

In between writing several proposals, a few phone calls, working on a test fit for a corporate office and checking on some real estate transactions, I managed to take a brain break and put inspiration in my own space. I always want to make my clients spaces enjoyable and tend to forget about my own. My point...take time out...this was my brain break for 45 minutes. I needed it. Take time during your day for you. Work hard but stay happy!!

We started right after Thanksgiving with a little 5x8 Master Bathroom. Demo'd, re-framed, refinished. Still in progress: windows, frameless glass, counters and toilet to go in and some details to finish up. We are getting there. Curbless shower is the way to go of you're able. It's turning out beautifully. Most important....The Client Is Happy 😊.
