Although not in NH this article shows the importance of annual chimney inspections. The chimney most likely had cracks, open joints, and missing mortar. That allowed heat and flame to ignite the area around the chimney. Chimney inspections don't just tell you if your chimney is dirty, they also tell you if your chimney is safe.

We are back servicing customers. We do have protocols that we follow to keep everyone as safe as possible. We take this very seriously and are very aware of our social responsibility to keep our customers safe, as well as ourselves. How we do this:
1. Limiting the number of customers we see per day/week.
2. Wearing masks.
3. We prefer to only interact with one person in the household and request the other members not be in the room where we are working, including pets.
4. If you can clear the area around where we will be then it will reduce the number of surfaces we touch in your home.
5. If you wish to, you can leave doors open while we are there which would eliminate us touching doorknobs.
6. If someone in your household is sick please reschedule your appointment.
Which is why we are staying home right now. However, we are still in the office to talk with you and creating a list of people to schedule as soon as it is realistically possible. Stay healthy everyone, we will all get through this together.
Spring is the time to clean your chimney flues, not Fall. Give us a call!
