Meet Denise Carle, a member of the Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC). Denise serves as Director of Social Services at Bethany Lutheran Home. She joined PFAC in 2019. When asked what she has gained personally from being on the council, she said "Love the face-to-face interaction and appreciate the work Mercy does and I work with them on a regular basis. CHI Health Mercy takes health care seriously and I appreciate that. You are an example in our community, 5-Star, and I'm proud to be a part of it."
Meet Kristin Wolford, PT, DPT, CMTPT, ACCI, Director of Rehab Services, at CHI Health Mercy., is a member of the Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC). "I joined PFAC for the community interaction as it is a great way to learn and grow both personally and professionally. I love being on the council because the feedback from our community members is so valuable because it really helps us to see things from angles of people who aren't immersed in healthcare every day. The biggest impact our council has done is the wayfinding and wording in patient materials. The council helps us provide our patients with the best patient experience."

Congratulations to Theresa, PharmD, BCPS, on being selected as the Creighton University 2020 Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) Local Preceptor of the Year. The curriculum and structure she has developed for the students while at Mercy is incredible. It is fun to watch the students grow in their knowledge and confidence during their time at Mercy under her guidance.
