Finishing up our 1st week of Childcare Worker Appreciation with some of our teachers wearing their cute tshirts! Our teachers have some of the biggest hearts and we're thankful they continue to go above and beyond for students, their families, and the communities they serve.
Today, we want to give a special shout-out to Angela Benson, a teacher at school #248 in Clayton, NC. Angela will be celebrating her 20th anniversary with the Childcare Network family this coming December! Her peers look at her as, "the heart of the school." We're so thankful for her dedication and commitment to ensuring every child receives a quality early education.

Continuing the #GAPreKWeek fun at school #209 in Snellville, GA. They read the story, "Behind the Little Red Door," and drew their own adventure behind their little red door. They always made Georgia Pre-K A sweet birthday card to celebrate the 10th Anniversary!

This week we're celebrating our amazing, awesome Cooks! They continuously go above and beyond to make sure kitchens are safe and clean, students are fed, as well as assisting in other areas when needed. We're so appreciative of all they do and certainly couldn't do it without them!
It's Harvest Time in the Georgia Pre-K Supercenter at school #235! Our little farmers can tend the pumpkin patch, collect "fresh" eggs, and work the cash register in their very own little farmers market.
The students at school #249 in Clayton, NC are starting their New Year off with some learning fun! The NCPre-K classroom has been transformed into a gym! The children LOVE the workout equipment designed by their teachers. And for those that want to work their brains instead, the teacher provides one-on-one time! The infant and toddler classes are proving it's never too early to foster a love of books. The teachers sit with the children and help them explore their favorite books!

Today was Ugly Sweater day and a fun day of Holiday projects at school #248 in Clayton, NC. The pre-k students worked hard on making holiday cards and designing their own holiday wrapping paper!
The students at school 255 in Georgetown, KY are creating a holiday mural! The pre-k students each made gingerbread houses and then took turns placing them on the mural. Each class will contribute something for the mural and collaborate on creating a beautiful, festive mural for their school!
School #119 in Lagrange, GA celebrated the spirit of the season by participating in their local holiday parade. They decked out their bus with some fun lights and decor. We love participating in activities throughout our communities!
The NC pre-k class at school #78 did a fun experiment using shaving cream and letters! They were each assigned letters and used their fingers to practice writing those letters in their shaving cream.
School #157 is getting some good mileage out of their playground this season! Our children love to play outside - especially now that temperatures are starting to warm up! They think they're just having fun, but we know they are enhancing their physical development! It's a Win/Win for both kids and teachers 🙌
Today's forecast looks cloudy with a chance of FUN! 🌦 This week, Pre-K 1 at school #110 is implementing their monthly curriculum — What’s The Weather? — with their handy Weather Station. These kiddos will be discussing the weather as it changes throughout the week and why the weekly forecast shifts from sunny skies to rainy days.

The NC Pre-K students at school #248 in Clayton, NC are enjoying their Flower Shop learning center! Here they're learning about different kinds of flowers, using their math skills to "purchase" flowers and vases, and their creative skills to create their perfect arrangement.
Our "Up in the Sky," curriculum fun continued into the clouds! The Ready2Learn classes at schools #86 and #297 in North Carolina created their own clouds this week in addition to learning what clouds are made of and how they are formed.
The students at school #253 in High Point, NC have been using their creativity to investigate their "Up in the Sky," curriculum! From painting planets and clouds to planning and drawing out a trip to the moon, it's been an exciting week full of exploration of all things in our sky and above!
