We are seeking a self-motivated, knowledgeable, and dedicated dental hygienist for our busy dental practice. Our hygiene providers emphasize and deliver patient-centered, comprehensive,and risk-based preventive and therapeutic care. Our office strives to ensure that adequate access to dental care is available for patients of all ages, demographics, and dental needs. We have enhanced our clinical operations to reflect current public health standards including employee PPE (N95 masks, face shields and gowns) and adjunct infection control modalities (HOCL fogging and air filtration units).
Salary up to $104,000.00
Signing bonus - $1,000.00 upon signing and $1,000.00 after 90 days of employment (must be in good standing)
Registered Dental Hygienist Qualifications:
- Active State RDH license
- Maintain a current license to practice including certifications as appropriate
- Passion for patient education
- Must be able to handle busy dental practice.

Registered Dental Hygienist Responsibilities:
- Perform NSPT, full mouth debridement, and periodontal maintenance procedures
- Administer local anesthesia (under direct supervision; hygienist must have evidence of certification)
- Place locally-administered adjunctive periodontal therapy
- Perform preventive care such as prophylaxis, fluoride, and dental sealants; and diagnostic care including digital intraoral and panoramic radiography
- Assess each patients individual caries risk and deliver individualized preventive health education and dietary counseling
- Educate patients on dental caries and periodontal disease etiology and risk factors
- Accurately document any findings relating to the patient’s intra- and extra-oral examination
- Schedule appointments for recall/maintenance visits
- Adhere to all OSHA, CDC/infection control, and state dental board regulations
- Assist with other duties as needed, including sterilization and front desk

Certified Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
- Taking digital dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Asking about the patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse
- Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and
preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
- Providing patients with instructions for preventative oral care
- Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health;
(e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling)
- Taking impressions of patient's teeth for study casts (models of teeth)
- Communicating with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments,
answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies)
- Helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including
orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and oral surgery
- Fluoride and sealant application under direct supervision from the dentist
- Other duties may be assigned!

New England Family Dental is looking to add a Full-Time Billing Specialist to our growing team. Flexible hours are available. We are willing to train the right candidate, Dental or medical admin or billing experience preferred.
We are offering a $2000 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment.
The ideal candidate should have intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, E-mail, and Internet.
Experience using Eaglesoft Software is a plus
Responsibilities:
Maintaining current insurance requirements, forms
Verifying proper reimbursement is received for services provided; processing and following up insurance claims; and documenting and coding information, interpreting dental records.
Reviewing patient accounts and determining appropriate billing distributions;
Processing statements and entering information into database;
And reviewing past due bills and following up on past due accounts.
Reconciling bank account
Requirements:
Knowledge of Dental or Medical Billing (at least 1 year experience in Dental Office or Billing position).
Very good understanding of Insurance and Medicaid billing and following up on claims. Must keep up to date with Accounts Receivables.
Able to deal with insurance companies and being able to work around their stall tactics and get claims paid; customer service skills in talking with patients about their accounts.
Well organized, diligent and good communication and computer skills.
Should be a quick learner, personable, friendly and a team player.
