A few nurses in our Pauline Allen Gill Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders wanted to make sure residents living in a nearby senior wellness center were not alone during #COVID19. They wrote letters to them and became their pen pals! We love how selfless and thoughtful our #HealthCareHeroes are!

We're wearing purple along with our patient Lauren for Epilepsy Awareness. Lauren has been seizure-free for 2 months. She started experiencing non-convulsive seizures and began treatment at our Dallas campus when she was just 11 months old. Lauren hasn’t let her seizures stop her from playing and enjoying the outdoors. Are you participating in #PurpleDay too? Take a selfie and show us! #EpilepsyAwarenessDay.
Diagnosed with hypertension and a heart abnormality at 16, our patient John found expert cardiac care at our Pediatric Cardiology Associates of Houston. John was able to return to the football field just a few weeks after surgery and continue his active lifestyle. Read more about John's story here: https://bit.ly/3sGUwvQ.
