PreK has excitement on the playground! The group found him in the wood chips and after examining him, they put him under the fence to find his family and be safer. They were all so gentle and interested in the latest Childrens place friend!
We are ready! We are planning and prepping to be ready for the start of school.
I am happy to announce the Miss Anna will be moving to the older preschool classroom and Miss Jamie is taking on our Pre-K class. They are both excited and ready for the new challenges of taking on different classrooms
Change and growth can be good! I am so excited and ready to watch them put their own stamp on these programs!

Due to so few spots we are able to fill we will need every spot filled to be able to continue operating as normal.

We did a joint project with Community Presbyterian Church this week. Carol from CPC invited us to to plant bulbs in the garden (with the fire hydrant in it) this week. Good thing we got them in before the snow hit. It’s always a bummer we can’t plant flowers and see them grow up since we close in the summer but we are hoping these come up in the spring! It was fun to see the excitement! Thank you CPC and to Carol for the invite!

PreK always has the best conversations that we get to hear on a daily basis
EM: "No one is the boss of me"
JJ: "Only adults are the boss"
EM: "Yeah, adults can be the boss"
JJ: "Or people that love you are the boss of you"
GA: "I love you JJ"
JJ: "........no"
our question is does she really love him or just want to boss him? 😜🥰
Reminder picture packets are due by Wednesday this week. You can also order online as well.
Pre K read a book. “See how they Grow: Owls”. The class made their own owl inspired by the owl in their book (right photo). I think they are pretty darn cute!
Click on the left photo to see the whole parliament. (Something else I learned a group of owls are called a parliament !)
The Dinosaur room is celebrating a special snack on pj day!

Stay safe if you have to venture out tonight or tomorrow.
PreK made groundhog “puppets” today in anticipation for the groundhog’s prediction tomorrow. Then voted on if he would see his shadow or not and it was a TIE.
We talked about Punxsutawney Phil and gave our puppets names too.
It’s Dr Seuss Tuesday of our Wacky week! Don’t forget to wear your favorite pajamas today! 😀
We are in talks about another summer school session for June. Let us know what you’d like.
Last year we did three weeks of fun running 8-12 (including lunch). Just seeing if there is any interest. 3 weeks? 4 weeks? Like the 4 hour time frame or do you like the 3 hour sessions we currently offer.
Send an email with your thoughts and what you’d like to see to childrensplacenursery@yahoo.com Last year it was a blast and the teachers had so much fun ! Would love to see if there’s enough interest to do it again!
