In the past, some of you may have been lucky to have met Angela a time or two when dropping off your pet for boarding or grooming. Angela was our manager here for several years when we were known as Vinjon’s Kennel Chino. She loved her job and loved what she did. Her passion for all animals and clients that came thru our doors while building many customer relationships over the years was priceless. Sadly, Angela was diagnosed with cancer in February 2019. She suddenly had to quit what she loved to do and fight the biggest fight of her life. Angela never ceased to amaze us how strong and determined she was to fight this disease and she did it with grace and dignity until the very end which sadly came earlier this past week. We not only lost a great manager, we also lost a friend.
From all of us here at Chino’s Caring Kennel, we would like to send our thoughts and prayers to Angela Dickinson's family and friends. Thank you Angela, for who you were and all you did for those that surrounded you. You will be missed…

This year has been by far the most challenging for all of us!! So today we made it fun!! Our CCK family participated in an ugly sweater contest and I have to say, they were super cute and incredibly creative!! It was to hard to come up with a winner as they all should have won!! However we did narrow it down to 3! Lindsey came in first place with her home made sweater made up of garland and ornaments strategically strung all over and dangling from her arms. Both NormaJean and Maya tied with NormaJean’s festive sweater dress and Maya’s homemade Christmas tree decorated with flashing lights and cottonballs for snow!! RATTLESNAKE AWARENESS CLASS IS BACK!!
Summer is coming and Rattlesnakes will be out in full force!!! Do you hike with your dog? Do you live near or plan to visit areas where rattlesnakes are known to be? It’s up to us to help protect our dogs from these dangerous and life threatening encounters. Renowned Avoidance Trainer, Andy Andrews has decades of experience in training dogs to avoid the sight, smell and sound of rattlesnakes. All lessons are private and by appointment. Each session is 20 to 30 minutes and the cost is $65 per dog. This training is not recommended for dogs under six months or over 10 years. These classes do fill up fast so book early. Call (909) 627-2212 for information or to schedule.
