Let’s play the name game some more! This gorgeous baby Albino Ball Python was here earlier this month for her first Wellness Exam with Dr Sweet. They call her A.P. so of course we asked what the initials stood for, and were surprised by the answer! A.P. are the initials for her full name, which comes from a Rugrats character! Who remembers Rugrats? What do you think her full name is?

September is National Guide Dog Month. These special pups live to serve, protect and assist. Guide dogs, seeing eye dogs, service pets, and assistance animals are all considered service dogs. Did you know that guide dogs are trained to display “intelligent disobedience?” This means they will refuse to obey a command from their owners if they see a danger their owners have missed, such as a car that ran a red light. Pretty smart pups!

Miss Violet, (the bulldog puppy) meet Huxley (the black lab pup)! Both Dr Sweet and Dr Fratamico had very cute puppy appointments at the same time this week, so we HAD to take a picture of them together! Naturally, they didn’t care about the camera and were more interested in saying “hello” to each other. 🥰🥰🥰
Who doesn’t love a good success story? Colette is an 8 year old kitty who came to see Dr Fratamico 10/7/20 after showing signs of urinary discomfort at home. Xrays revealed at least 7 stones in her bladder and urinary tract. Colette was sent home with some ROYAL CANIN Prescription food to (hopefully) help her body break down those stones. Today was her 2 week follow up-do you see any stones in there?! We don’t! And Mom reports Colette is back to acting like herself again! Continuing this prescription diet, combined with some follow up care and close monitoring at home, and Colette should be able to live out her life comfortably!
