Student Rex, working on calm energy and confidence by hopping up onto the limestone while out for a walk. 💯
So much of my job is about the HUMANS. I love humans too! They are as fascinating as dogs. Just not as easy to initiate change in. ;)
Student Enzo is working on being calm around other dogs. He is reacting out of excitement AND uncertainty when he sees other dogs. I'm teaching Ruby and Enzo how to focus on each other and build a relationship, so that Enzo trusts Ruby, and knows that focusing on her and what she's asking of him is a better decision for him when he sees another dog. He will also learn that Ruby does not let other strange dogs near him, so he can relax.
Sweet little Olive with her family in her fourth lesson of Puppy Prep yesterday.
Happy Caturday!!! 🐈
Dogs are extremely sentient beings that deserve to have respect and trust cultivated with their human. It's our responsibility to create it, earn it, and return it.
Student Lexie in her K9 Masters Program. Lexie is in school to address her extreme over-excitedness about life. We understand! Life is exciting! But being constantly hyper and reactivate is not fun for anyone. We are slowing Lexie's brain down and letting her know we don't like the constant drama. 😜🐾
The perfectness of animals. 💜 LADbible posted a video to playlist Smashed It! October 22 at 2:00 AM · We don't deserve animals 🙌❤
💚💜 Nature and Dogs 💜💚
Student Reggie in his Puppy Prep Program! He is learning about engagement. 🎓🌟 Engagement is when he is interested in, paying attention to, and listening to, his human. It's different for each member of the household. Dogs respond to energy, and often with women, they take advantage of their soft and nurturing energy. ♀️ So I spend time empowering many people to embody a strong leadership energy to help shape their dog into a manageable and engaged family member. 💪🐾
Adorable Student Lexi working on her outdoors Place command. This is to show her that she CAN have a calm brain outdoors. Instead of a brain that is running on overdrive. This way, Lexi can actually enjoy her time outdoors, in a calm and balanced way.
Student Lexi is working on her focus with her human while outside. She is very over-stimulated by the things around her that she can see or hear, instead of what she is being asked to do. This means her brain is hyper and chaotic, which is not fun for anyone!
Homework for Bentley! 🎒🎒
Student Bentley getting familiar with the Place bed in his first lesson. 💯🐾

Training with Winona this morning. She got onto a long line for the first time today! She did great, as did her lovely human, Mallory. 🐾🐾💯💯
Look at this little beauty!!! This is new student Harley Quinn. She is a 12 week old mutty mutt rescue pup. She's enrolled in Puppy Prep 101 to learn all the puppy things: name recognition, crate training, potty training, focus, attention, leash walking, etc. She is happy and confident and eager!!! The perfect pup! 🐾
