Dr. Choudhury S. Hasan, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine- Gastroenterology, practicing as a trusted gastroenterologist at his private practice in Rego Park, New York. Dr. Hasan was the Chief of Gastroenterology at St. John's Queens Hospital and was Director of Gastroenterology at Flushing Medical Center.
Dr. Hasan earned his medical degree in the West Indies from the Grace University School of Medicine in Nevis, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center of Richmond and the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens. He also completed a gastroenterology fellowship at the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens. He is currently a member of both the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology.
His specialty in gastroenterology involves treating patients for abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, biliary tract problems, pancreas problems, and gallstones in addition to providing gastroenterology consultations.
