Registration is now open for our 3rd annual Special Needs Service Day on Saturday, October 24th. This year will look a little different than the past two because of COVID. Rather than a carnival atmosphere with as many oil changes as possible, we are asking you to identify a specific time slot to allow our shop to look over your car and potentially perform more in depth repairs as time and social distancing allows. To qualify and get registered, please contact Rebekah Dyer at rebekah.dyer@hotmail.com Special thanks to our community partners Arizona Autism Network of the West Valley and Family Life Radio Phoenix for helping connect us with these special families to serve! Also, stay tuned to our Facebook page to see how you can register for one of two Ipads to be given away that day.

Power steering is a valuable feature on modern cars, but if
your fluid starts to leak, the system can fail. Here are some
tips for avoiding a power steering fluid leak as you drive:
🚗 Never turn your wheels all the way to the left or right.
🚗 Recondition your O-Rings and seals.
🚗 Monitor the condition of your serpentine belt.
Is it time to check on your power steering system? We're
happy to help check your fluid and make sure your vehicle
is good to go through all of the road's twists and turns.

Valuable Tips for Avoiding Power Steering Fluid Leaks
#CoolCarTips 💡: The tread on your tires should never dip
below 1/16th of an inch. In fact, replacing them a little
earlier is recommended.
Not sure what that looks like? Try the penny test: Insert a
penny with Lincoln’s head down into your tire tread—if you
can see the top of his head above the tread, you need new
tires.

Did you know? Your transmission works hard to transfer
power from your car's engine to its wheels, but it requires
fluid to do so efficiently. This is why we recommend getting
your transmission fluid changed every 60,000 miles, unless
otherwise recommended by your manufacturer.

We just love this #coolcartip about the best type of jumper cables from Donnie Carr, President of Christian Brothers Automotive.
“Choose heavy-duty, high-quality jumper cables. Many
jumper cables are too short, too thin or not flexible during
cold weather. It’s important to get heavy-duty cables to
ensure the current flows through them strongly enough to
start your vehicle. Make sure the jumper cables you
purchase are at least 20 feet long and four gauges thick.
Cables made of copper offer the least resistance.”
