Dr. Christensen earned his medical degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1992. He went on to complete his postgraduate residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. He then performed a hip and knee adult reconstruction fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston from 1998 to 2003. He moved to Lexington in 2003 after joining the Lexington Clinic and worked there until 2016.
